How to make a Blast Furnace in Minecraft.
The complete Blast Furnace recipe for Minecraft. Learn how to craft a Blast Furnace in Minecraft in seconds.
What is a Blast Furnace?
A Blast Furnace is used to smelt items in the Minecraft game, in the same way as in a Furnace. The difference is, that a Blast Furnace smelts ore and (and tools/armour) twice as fast as a normal Furnac, burt it also uses fuel at twice the rate. It is basically the preferred way to smelt ore in Minecraft. You cannot cook or bake in a Blast Furnace, however. For cooking, you need a smoker.
You can also find a Blast Furnace in the Armorer’s house, located in any Village, and you can steal it for free.
How to make a Blast Furnace in Minecraft.
This is how you craft a Blast Furnace in Minecraft in Survival Mod:
Step 1: Open the Minecraft Crafting Menu.
Open up your crafting table, in minecraft, so that you have the 3×3 crafting grid in front of you.
Step 2: Add 5 Iron Ingots, 1 furnace and 3 Smooth Stone in the 3×3 crafting grid. Make sure that the iron ingot, furnace and smooth stone are placed in the same pattern as the image shown below. In other words, the first row, place 3 iron ingots. In the second row, place 1 iron ingot in the first box, followed by 1 furnace in the second box, and then finish the row with 1 iron ingot in the third box. In the last row, place 3 smooth stone.
Step 3: When you filled the crafting area with the pattern shown in the image, your new Blast Furnace will show in the box on the right. When it appears, move the Blast Furnace to your Inventory.

How to Use a Blast Furnace in Minecraft.
To use a Blast Furnace is the same process as using a normal Furnace: Put fuel, like Coal, in the bottom-left section of the Blast Furnace, and put the ore item in the top-left section. See the image below for a visual description.
